This is the hardware that I'll be using for this little project.

The Console

I'll be using a model 2 Sega Genesis. It's actually the Genesis that I used as a kid. It still doesn't have feet on it anymore from when I pulled them off to use with a friends Sega CD back in Elementary School. Also, as I got back into retro gaming I resoldered the broken power connector on the back. It will be connected to my TV with the HD Retrovision YPbPr Component Cable.

Along with the console I'll be using a Mega Everdrive X7 which will give me access to these games, since the goal is playing games that I don't actually have. The controller is an 8BitDo M30.

The TV

I'll have the old Genesis hooked up to a sony PVM M14-Whatever. I should look this up when I'm actually in front of it. I got it on Yahoo Auctions about 4 years ago for a steal. I do need to change a couple capacitors, but doing that is a little above what I'm comfortable doing myself so I'll probably want someone to help me out with it.
